ZIMMERs has been a trusted German law office for many companies and private individuals. Our primary aim is to deliver a quality bespoke service to our clients. We are interested in hearing from ambitious and bright professionals/legal support staff, who share our values and work ethos.

Work Experience
Due to the exit from the EU, we are unable to offer any work experience to legal trainees and law students, who aim to apply under the Points Based Immigration System.

We regret that we are currently not in the position to provide foreign-qualified candidates with such an opportunity. We will review the situation by the end of 2021 and will update the website accordingly.

Training Contracts
We encourage and welcome training contract applications from recent graduates, who aim to qualify as a Solicitor and already hold the right to reside in the UK. Candidates are required to be fluent in English & German and to have completed the GDL/LPC before the proposed start date of the training contract. If you are interested in joining a niche German law firm dealing with cross-border issues mainly in civil law, please send your application to the following email address:

Vacancies in general
Currently we have no vacancies. However, we are always open to consider applications from motivated and qualified applicants and will let you know if a vacancy will come up.
If you are interested in joining us, please do not hesitate to contact us directly. Please be advised that we are currently unable to accept applications from candidates who apply under the new Skilled Worker Scheme, as we do not hold a Sponsorship Licence yet.

However, we welcome speculative applications from legal professionals, who already hold the right to reside in the UK. If you are ambitious to join a small London-based law firm dealing with cross-border issues, please send your application to the following email address:

Due to the nature of our business, we require each candidate to be fluent in English and German.
