She began as a German lawyer, today she is a consultant. Her legal career began in 1995 with the firm of solicitors Zimmermann & Decker in Hamburg, which specialised in the music industry. After that Hanna led the “Business Affairs” Department of Virgin Records in Munich.

In 1999 she moved to ZIMMERs in London where she worked as an independent German lawyer for the music industry. Her specialities were Contract Law, Copyright and Trade Mark Law, as well as International Civil Law and Civil Procedure. In 2004 she specialised further in English Employment Law.
