The German lawyer Lena has been with ZIMMERs since 2013.


 

She is admitted to the German bar and has been registered as a European Lawyer since June 2013. She is training to be a solicitor. She studied Law at the Albert Ludwigs University in Freiburg, the Université Panthéon-Assas in Paris and at Hamburg University and finished her first state examination in 2007 specialising in European Law. In 2009 she completed the second state examination (equivalent to bar examination) at the Berlin Superior Court of Justice, specialising in legal advice in Civil Law. During her Rechtsreferendariat (equivalent to training contract) she spent time at the Legal Department of the Office of the German President and the German Consulate General in Chicago.

Since 2009 Lena has been working in Germany in the fields of Art Law, Media Law and Competition Law.

In 2010 she set up her own legal office in Berlin, specialising in Civil Law, including Insurance Law and Data Protection Law. Her office in Berlin is still operating, with particular emphasis on Data Protection.

At ZIMMERs she primarily looks after clients involving Insurance Law, Product Liability, Contract Law and Criminal Law.
